Hello, I’m Aaradhy Asharma, a passionate Mehndi artist and the founder of MehndiDesigns. For over 12 years, I’ve devoted my heart and hands to the ancient art of Mehndi—not only because of its graceful patterns, but because of the soul of Indian culture embedded in every line I draw.
To me, each stroke of Mehndi is a memory, a quiet rhythm from the past echoing into the present. Mehndi is far more than ornamentation—it’s a whispered story told through patterns, a gentle greeting from generations before us, and a personal invitation to creativity.
I was born and raised in New Delhi, a city where festivals, music, and color are part of everyday life. My childhood was wrapped in the scent of henna wafting through the air, and quiet afternoons watching my mother and grandmother weave magic onto palms. That’s where I first found my path.
When I founded MehndiDesigns, I wasn’t just building a studio—I was creating a space where tradition and innovation could coexist. A space where each design would serve as a bridge between the old and the new, between personal expression and cultural legacy.

I aspire to integrate Mehndi with fashion and visual arts—allowing it to step beyond the skin and onto runways, murals, and even digital landscapes. I also dream of founding a modern Mehndi Arts Institute—one that preserves, studies, and reimagines traditional henna as a global cultural force.
